Authenticity, Integrity and Love

The core principle in Tantra is Authenticity with Self so one can live a Life of Love. Living authentically creates the possibility of true intimacy, love and connection with people and the Divine through Integrity. To have integrity means to be whole, complete, sound and unwavering in one’s truth and conviction; willing to do the right thing no matter how hard or if anyone is watching. Authenticity is at the heart of Integrity, and one must act and live with full Integrity to be Authentic.

The battle between Love and fear.

The biggest struggle and obstacle to reaching the kind of authentic relating that can lead to greater connection and love is fear. Fear and anxiety cause separation and conflict by creating a state of protection that prioritizes a need for control, preventing the ability to give and receive love, and bringing people out of integrity and into a state of self-preservation.

Spiritual practices and world religions at their unadulterated core all teach people to follow the path of the heart and love (God is Love), yet the world teaches people to live in fear, and thus people prioritize seeking an escape or means to control others to ease their fear and anxiety.

The question is, do you want to follow the Path of the Heart, or the Path of Fear?

Javi Martinez is a Wise Oracle, a Life and Love and Sexual Shamanic Coach, ISTA Faculty, Sacred Sexual Shaman, and the founder of Heavy Metal Tantra.
